History

McDonnell Family

PureHM was originally founded in 1995 by Jim Hunter and Shamus McDonnell as Hunter McDonnell Pipeline Services Inc. In 2014, the company was acquired by Pure Technologies Ltd., a world leader in the development and application of technologies for inspection, monitoring, and management of critical infrastructure. Pure primarily serves three markets – municipal water and wastewater agencies, oil and gas pipeline operators, and critical bridges and structures. PureHM was created as the oil and gas subsidiary of Pure Technologies to service energy pipeline owners.

As of 2016, PureHM has grown to over 100 employees serving pipeline owners across North America, as well as three other continents through Pure’s international offices.
