Introducing PureHM’s New Autonomous Survey Vessel for Pipeline Water Crossing Inspections

The boat is fully equipped for pipeline water crossing inspections and can be operated as a manned vessel, remote controlled from shore or run in autonomous mode
Integrity management of pipelines at water crossings is an important part of regulatory compliance and helps operators avoid incidents in those areas carrying the highest risk and liability due to the potential of watershed contamination.
As a part of our continued effort to make pipelines safer, we are proud to introduce our latest technology – an autonomous survey boat for pipeline water crossing inspections during hazardous conditions, such as flooding.
Severe flood events create a significant challenge for operators as it represents both the most critical time to inspect pipeline water crossings to support continued safe operation while being the most challenging time to complete a manned inspection safely.
We are now able to work with operators to deploy our autonomous inspection vessel from shore or helicopter during flood events. This will keep technicians safely on shore while the inspection is completed to ensure the pipeline remains buried.
Please reach out to us if you have any questions or would like more information on this technology.
