PureHM Hires New Business Development Director and Manager of Pipeline Integrity Division
As PureHM continues to expand in the pipeline industry, we are excited to announce two new additions to our team, Michael McGee, and Rob Zmud.
Michael McGee, a former U.S. Marine, is accomplished pipeline professional with 15-years of oil and gas pipeline experience. Joining PureHM’s Houston office, McGee will support U.S. business development and with focus on expansion into the inspection of non-piggable pipelines.
For the last eight years, McGee worked as a Senior Technical Advisor at Quest Integrity, specializing in unconventional inspection (ILI/tethered robotic), including connected advanced engineering integrity solutions for ‘un-piggable’ and difficult-to-inspect pipeline assets. Before Quest Integrity, McGee spent seven years with ROSEN, from ILI Field Lead, ultimately advancing to Area Manager of Technical Services where he developed the company’s growth.
PureHM is also pleased to announce the addition of Rob Zmud, a University of Alberta graduate and experienced engineer. Zmud will be based in PureHM’s Edmonton office and lead the Pipeline Integrity Division. In the late 1990s, Zmud started his professional career at RTD working on digs as a pipeline non-destructive testing technician and gained experience with ultrasonic, mag particle and laser tools.
In the early 2000s, Zmud moved to Colonial Pipeline Company, developing his career as a technician working his way up to a manager of the ILI department. Zmud has extensive experience overseeing pipeline integrity work involving ILI, including correlation of CP CIPS data to ILI.
