Water Crossing Assessment
PureHM’s comprehensive water crossing assessment platform provides operators with confidence that they are making sound integrity decisions regarding these high-consequence areas

PureHM’s water crossing survey vessel can be operated not only as a manned vessel, but remotely from shore or autonomously according to a pre-determined GPS route – enabling safe inspection during hazardous conditions such as flooding. It is is equipped with industry leading survey technology and a host of sensors providing operators with integrated, highly correlated data streams.
PureHM’s Spectrum XLI platform provides accurate pipeline centerline and depth-of-cover data. Multibeam sonar sensors are available to complete a bathymetric riverbed profile, which can be complemented by side scan sonar to deliver enhanced imagery in shallow water. Water column velocity profiles are also available to improve the accuracy of vortex induced vibration modelling, which offers critical insight for deeper crossings. The survey vessel is also able to complete topographic LiDAR readings of river banks and also utilizes large stand-off magnetometry to locate areas of stress concentration.
Survey outputs can be fully customized to meet individual inspection needs and are easily integrated with existing inspection or survey data to maximize efficiency and data accuracy.

Why Choose PureHM?

Our ability to monitor and assess buried, under water pipelines by remote or autonomous means reduces the need to have technicians on the water – eliminating the safety risks that often arise at these volatile areas.

The accuracy of information and broad scope of data streams provided by our suite of water crossing solutions enables operators to make confident integrity decisions relating to their water crossings.

Combining a comprehensive indirect inspection with geo-technical stress and river scour monitoring contributes to an industry-leading integrity program that limits risk exposure in sensitive water crossing areas.
