Which data sources can Spectrum XLI collect simultaneously?
PureHM’s Spectrum XLI is a complete system for above-ground inspection of buried pipelines. Historically, above-ground inspection tools have only collected a single data source in each pass of the pipeline. This means the operator needed to complete multiple passes of the ROW to do comprehensive inspections such as those required for ECDA or SCCDA, which require multiple indirect inspections (IITs), which is expensive and time consuming. Spectrum XLI poses a state-of-the-art solution to this issue.
The differentiating factor in the complete spectrum XLI is its versatility. The system can collect multiple IIT data sets in a single pass, improving project efficiency and deliverables compared to other inspection processes. Spectrum XLI can collect the following data sources all in a single pass:
- GPS/GIS
- Depth of Cover
- Depth of Water
- Gas Leak Detection
- Cathodic Protection (CP CIPS/CIS)
- Direct Current Voltage Gradient (DCVG)
- Alternating Current Voltage Gradient (ACVG)
- Alternating Current-Current Attenuation (ACCA)
- Soil resistivity
Upon completion of the survey, Operators will receive results in a single reporting platform, allowing for informed decision making and more reliable data that didn’t require post collection alignment and correlation. Post analysis of inspection results are completed by NACE certified CP and corrosion specialist, ensuring that only the highest quality and reliable pipeline integrity recommendations are made. Using Spectrum XLI, operators can experience increased safety, efficiency and reliability.
